In November it will be one year since Generation Church came into existence. The Lord has been so good in taking two dead congregations and creating one vibrant body in the middle of South Oceanside. In the last year we have seen 16 people be baptized, hundreds make decisions for Christ, join small groups and commit to membership. We have seen God use us to be a voice for the homeless in Oceanside. To say the least, God has been good

Easter Was Amazing
Our Easter weekend was amazing!
On Saturday we had somewhere around 400 visitors and on Sunday we had 341 people show up to worship. God has been so good to us and he continues to bless us. The Sunday after Easter is traditionally our lowest attendance of the year and we had 226 people in worship (a non holiday attendance record). Even more important than the number of people coming to our worship gatherings is the amount of decisions for Christ that have been made in the last few months. God has been so good to us and we look forward for further blessing
On April 28th we are having a Financial freedom conference at South Oceanside Elementary School. The event goes from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm and it is 100% FREE! Childcare and lunch will be provided.

Easter Launch
Yes this Easter is our first Public event as Generation Church! Generation Church is a brand new church to the South Oceanside Area. In November we moved into the old Service Memorial Baptist Church Building and we have spent the last 5 months preparing for our first Public service on Easter. We have worked very hard over the last few months in preparing our Children's ministry, Youth Ministry, Small Groups, Worship Team, Servant teams and Sunday School classes together. Easter Services are April 8th 9:00 and 10:30 am
Easter Carnival:
On April 7th from 11-4 we will be having an Easter Carnival with free rides, games, petting zoo, live music, food and a skateboarding Demo. This will be held in our parking Lot
April 29th: Free Financial Seminar. We will be hosting a free get out of debt seminar with Certified Financial Planner Judy Stewart. Judy is one of the top financial planners in the country and she will be talking about subjects such as; getting out of debt, retirement planning, college savings, insurance and estate planning. This seminar is free and will be held at South O Elementary School from 9:00-12:00 Child Care Provided Free!

Enter the Ring
One of the things that the leadership of Generation has been working on over the last few months is a process of discipleship called the RING. The ring is a series of classes designed to help people draw closer to God through transformation, worship, servanthood, community and outreach. It is a great way to get involved in the church and draw closer to Jesus. Hear are the classes
1. R re:Generation: this Class is a intro to who the church is and where we are going. It also talks about some of the things that are essential to the life of a believer. Baptism, Church, Communion. It is a great class for someone who is new to the church and wants to know what we are about, someone who is a new Christian or spiritually seeking.
2. I Intimacy With God: This is a class that touches base on how to develop a better personal relationship with God. Interpreting Scripture, Prayer, developing a community that sustains faith, becoming a generous Christian, plans for reading the Bible.
3. N Now Discover your Gifts: This is a class that teaches the theological concept of spiritual gifts and then helps you discover what your s are. In this class you will study what the gifts are, take an inventory about how to find yours. We will then counsel you and help you get involved in ministries where you can use your gifts.
4. G Go Share Your Story: This is a class that gives a person the ability to share their faith and their story without looking like a religious freak. Sharing the story of God does not have to be a scary thing. We also share what Generation Church's plan for World missions is.
